Hi, Thanks for you like this module. Could you use tengine instead, it can give you the consistent hash module and the health check both.

I tried to use it but got lot of error messages during the build process, not sure if I need to patch something. fwiw I'm using the latest stable nginx. Not sure if consistent hash is suppose to work with it or just with an old version of nginx.
fwiw I created a patch for the classic http upstream hash to use nginx_upstream_check_module. I used one of your patches as a guide-thru ;)
