0.2.49 contains the flag:

• the flag will be set after opening a video
• it can also be set/unset by pressing t

Very good idea, will look into simple ways to do that (basycally, the simplest way I can see is to store the ids of videos that were played on a flat file)

I think I'm going to add a flag at the start of the line like alpine does

A flag for unread/New would work well.
Newsboat dims the read articles. It is a bit too subtle with the default settings, but it works.
