We are also having the same problem. player always keeps playing the same stream resources.
Can you please let us know when can we get the fix?.

Vitamio 4.0 has support. You can use MediaPlayer.setAdaptive(true). It'll adaptive stream.

.m3u8 work perfectly in jcvideoplayer on marshmallow but in lower version of device its not working
