How to upgrade the server: After making changes on the server such as extension, you can only run the update script using a webupdater since we do not have access to the root server.

1. Always back up before performing database maintenance --> mysqldump --databases itguru_db1 -u itguru_1 -p xxxx -h xxx.your-server.de
2. Navigate your web browser to /mw-config/index.php. Since our Wiki is at http://itgurusgermany.com/w/index.php, then navigate to http://itgurusgermany.com/w/mw-config/index.php.
3. Select your language and click continue.
4. The existing installation should be detected. Follow the instructions on the screen to upgrade it.
5. Then use the "upgrade key", in the LocalSettings.php file to assign $wgUpgradeKey.

Make content more editable

At the moment, the content we add is not so user friendly to edit. Make it more friendly and editable

For test purposes, we and do have working directly on the production environment, we want to create and have a environment. Make sure It should be reachable via test.itgurusgermany.com and version controlled

Make Google Login Optional

We want to ensure that users can read all content and perhaps have other login options apart from google

We need to be certain that the current image uploads size are not going to blow up our DB. In the future, we want to be able to enable image upload for users on the website.
Investigate and test image upload for users.

As this is a continous process, we want to be able to add new content to our site page.

Nice to have this as a version control. This will make our live easy

For smooth start, we would like to have a robust on-boarding procedure for devs also for site contributors joining

Create social media presence

We want to gain more online presence thereby we want to create social media presence for ITGURUs e.g Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

1. Integrate social media account icons on the site
2. Make this reachable and linkable
3. Using our official email [email protected]
4. Grow followers

Server Environment variable

Member Login

Currently only admins can login on our server, we want developers also be able to login and manage the website.

Site Logo

We need a logo for our IT GURU page. A logo would also be nice to have going forward.

Register an SSL and Domain name for website

Currently our website is hosted with an IP http://95.216.175.148/
