Accessing location information fails

It should work fine from a JSON grammar too. Could you clone the git repo and run make test? There should only be one test (unrelated) that fails.

If you can post your grammar, that may help as well.

Running the tests indeed gives me only one failure.

The same happens if the console.log instruction is placed in a lexer rule too.

Ah, this Coffeescript DSL uses real functions to express rules, so they are parsed by the JavaScript engine along with the rest of the script when it's initially parsed, causing a syntax error on the @ token. A workaround would be to use a valid JavaScript symbol then alter the o function to replace that symbol with @. With so many levels of parsing and compiling going on here, it can be hard to tell where errors originate :p

Also, location info is only available within parser actions.
