Drag nodes themselves (vs. bezier points).. often the curve looks good, but
the node is misplaced?

Goal: Build the E. coli core metabolic map in < 10 minutes.
- Change the direction of a new reaction before adding it. (Arrow
next to metabolite can be dragged to determine direction)- Undo with Ctrl-Z
- Combine metabolites from different reactions
- Export as SVG
- Drag bezier points
- Add new control points
- Change the size of the map border
- Add membranes
- Show main products of a reaction (as a hint) in reaction input menu

Can you grab a screenshot for the node placement problem?

for example.. moved the right node right, and the arrow did not follow..
could either move the node (I'm thinking easier) or muck with the bezeir
curve?

(Image didn't come through.)
But I think the issue is just that the bezier curves are 'dumb', in that the control points get displaced exactly like the nodes. I've been thinking about tricks to improve the bezier displacement, but I haven't implemented anything yet. It's actually a pretty tricky problem.

We should prioritize the ability to combine nodes.. So if the labels match and you hover 2 common ones together they click together.. Currently, the best we can do is visually overlap common nodes, right?

Its getting way more functional :)

Yup. Combining nodes is important. I added 'snap to grid' to the feature list, also—after seeing your screenshot.

Combine nodes should work now.
