It is a manual process. One needs to check the history and find the diffs between versions of the English documentation.

I can assure you, if there is no PR, no one is currently looking into it :D

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, or if a new issue would be better.

The section about formatting the list of references is a little confusing. Where should I be adding the LaTeX snippet that is mentioned? As part of a LaTeX template?

I see that v1.7.1 does not have the Virtual Directory feature, but the documentation still has it: https://docs.zettlr.com/en/core/virtual-directories/#virtual-directories

Is this a bug or does the documentation needs to be updated about it?

Documentation is outdated

I may take a look and see if I can fix it then (if no one else is looking into it).

Sent a PR for the Virtual Directories. Also started skimming the English documentation. I need to learn the tool anyway, might as well fix the typos :)

Thanks! I already merged it! I'm also currently rewriting large parts of the docs, so that it's updated, but if you want to edit my texts afterwards and check for typos that would be awesome! I've just finished the index.md, and will now gradually move to more parts of the docs!

I went through the first few files, but will hold back with skimming for now, then. Please let me know when you are done so that we do not create conflicts for each other.

You can do it! Rewrote most of the documentation, so it's ready for you! :)

If you spot something I missed during this 6h marathon, please feel free to correct the information!

Hello !
If, for example, in the file "file-list.md " you add a new section or change a sentence, is it automatically added in the other languages, or it has to be updated manually ? I think we have to check manually but I want to be sure. The process to update a language is to check the history of the english translation ?

The (English) documentation lists 3 Zettlr Markdown extensions on top of GFM's extensions. I don't believe this is correct, since Zettlr seems to support footnotes and citations, which come from Pandoc's Markdown. Is it outdated documentation or is it a misunderstanding on my part?

Possibly outdated, as large parts of the documentation. The whole docs need to be rewritten for 1.8 either way due to the numerous changes introduced along the way …
