Is this still not possible?
Myself I dont care about groups or folders, I just want to type into the search bar and find my bookmarks, as in browser bookmarks.
Other extension can do this, it should be possible?

I'll have to investigate how plausible this is. Chrome/Firefox bookmarks allow unlimited folder nesting. So importing them into nightTab might not be so straight forward.
The work I'm doing on "bookmark groups" is more around visual grouping and not folders.
Will investigate.
