I'm not sure what you mean. I didn't disable anything in 0.0.4. And 0.1.0 doesn't rely on ruby timeout anymore. Furthermore, I do not aim to retain any compatibility, other than you install and configure it the same way; 0.1.0 works otherwise differently.

in 0.0.4 setting the timeout to 0, disabled it, since that's how Timeout.timeout works:
"A value of 0 or nil will execute the block without any timeout."
In 1.0.0b3 it does not. It would be reasonable for the public interface to remain the same ("configure it the same way" as you put it)
