You mean click with the left mouse button, right? It works for me: clicking on the first character of a file moves the cursor to this character, as expected. I've checked that on 2.0.13 it works as well.
Maybe some of your settings or installed plugins make it not work. Does it still not work if you run micro with -config-dir /
parameter (i.e. with a non-existing config dir instead of ~/.config/micro/
, to force using default settings and disabling any plugins)?

Apparently it's because I turned off ruler. It only works with ruler on

Just open some file in micro, disable the ruler and disable the diffgutter, and then try to click on the first character in the buffer (i.e. the top left corner of the screen).
