Additional context
I tried booting on real hardware with the Linux version was going to try the weird google kernel thing but I could not find it neofetch say Linux 5.10.1 though so guess it's Linux based

consider enabling chromebook drivers in the kernel

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
DahliaOS works fine on my PC but my corebooted chromebook the keyboard and mouse do not work

Describe the solution you'd like
Chromebook drivers to be built into the kernel

For which platform is this feature request?

  • Platform: Linux

Why should we add it?
Chromebooks are garbage but they are pretty based and red pilled with coreboot tbh

Checksum

Please add also a Checksum to the releases! It would be very nice

UEFI-ISO

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I use exclusively a multiboot disk, Ventoy for installing operating systems. as it stands the EFI does not work with ventoy, which becomes a rather large issue when I need to use an EFI image, but said image is unusable on ventoy. when you extract the image, and load the disk.img from ventoy it boots into grub menu, then just reboots.

running legacy.iso works on machines that support legacy usage. but that is not the laptop I have, and as I cannot at this time use a USB to dedicate to dahlia, I cannot currently install it at all on one of my devices.

Describe the solution you'd like
Add an UEFI ISO.

32-bit EFI support

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
There are plenty of devices that have support for 64bit cpu and kernel, but only support 32bit efi. I would like to be able to use dahlia on devices such as this.

currently I need to use grub file manager to manually load the grub.cfg to get dahlia to boot on my device

Describe the solution you'd like
Support for 32bit efi

Do you have an idea of how we would add it?
compiling grub with 32bit support

Why should we add it?
this would not only increase the ammount of devices dahlia works on, but also help make some of these older devices work longer

Terminal is... Weird? (emulator)

Terminal literally does not accepts any command and the text like root@dahliOS disappears if I write anything, it just becomes something like a notepad. It is the latest build (dahliaOS-201215-legacy.iso), I tried it both on qemu and VirtualBox with 2 GB of ram but the same issue. I also played with the ram size but no effect.

image

Also it was lagging a lot, like slow mouse movements, the apps thing at the left bottom opens after 5 seconds when I click it etc.
