A lot of users of BlogSixteen have requested slideshow functionality, maybe look into Owl2 and see if it's possible to integrate it into the theme.

Customiser to render

Custoimer does not seem to render probly, need some js love for this...

More styling...

I am challenged by the posts. I want to show the full text of my post, not just the ‘…’. I can see where I would change the content file, modifying the ‘More’ variable, but I don’t see where to do that within this theme. Can you help me out?

Recomended fallback for custom-header

RECOMMENDED: No reference to add_theme_support( "custom-background", $args ) was found in the theme. If the theme uses background images or solid colors for the background, then it is recommended that the theme implement this functionality.
