highlightjs-j's Issues

PLA in J_UNPACK causes catastrophic backtracking

The unpack syntax, eg: 'one two' =. 1 2 is currently differentiated from string using a Positive Look-Ahead, '(?=...).

This causes catastrophic backtracking, and causes a noticeable slowdown highlighting strings more then 20 characters.

I noticed this issue when using the same pattern in a Pygments lexer, and worked around the issue using bygroups to match the whole unpack in one go with captures for the different parts (quote, literal, conjunction, etc) and then highlight the captures.

Need to investigate the equivalent fix for highlightjs.
