Device does not accept images after successfull patching

The device does not accept ibss, ibec etc to enter purple mode when the device is patched with this pwnd. While using different pwnd all works fine.

Question: How to fix my files to let it works with this pwnd?

Many thanks

Hangs after PATCH stage on A9 devices (CPID: 8000)

Attempting to run './gaster pwn' hangs forever after reaching the PATCH stage on all my A9 devices, a 6s and two SEs. This occurs using both LibUSB and IOKit, along with raised USB_TIMEOUT values. Device does not reboot, just stays on a black screen with nothing being printed to the serial output. Only occurs on my A9 devices, works perfectly fine on my A7, A8, A10 and A11 devices (Side-note, great job on the support for those devices!).

Hanging after patch stage

I am doing this on an iPhone 5s on Manjaro and it always just hangs after the patch stage and no matter how long I leave it for it just doesn't do anything after it

8950 reboots and has unrecognizable descriptor

Gaster built for Windows using libUsbK driver tries to patch an 8950 device (in my case, iPhone 5) and after that device reboots.
Under Linux (Ubuntu) patching can stop at some step and Gaster stops responding. If patching succeeds, the descriptor becomes unrecognizable and applying the patch becomes impossible until the next reboot to DFU. Gaster tries to patch all over again.
So, it seems pwning A6 devices is impossible atm.

unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start: -75 (hangs after PATCH stage)

I have been trying to use gaster on linux with an old ipad 4. sudo dmesg | bat prints the following.

88   │ [39614.655352] apple-mfi-fastcharge 1-6: device descriptor read/8, error 2
2189   │ [39614.785556] apple-mfi-fastcharge 1-6: device descriptor read/8, error -75

Gaster seems to have gotten to the PATCH stage and then hangs on waiting for usb handle forever.

Haven't had any more luck on my ipod 6th gen either 😢

By the way, do you happen to know if project sandcastle, or more specifically, PongoOS would work with irecovery?
I am actually trying to see if I can get it to work with the latest linux kernel. I already tried just using PongoOS with checkra1n (didn't work) but then I found this tool and it's open source unlike checkra1n... If this ends up working I will post my current progress on my repository here:
https://github.com/theo-os/sandcastle/issues/1

Fix bug in Checkm8 exploit on ARM macs using usbc

Now that the issue in #38 (and some others) has been identified, I open a new issue focussing on resolving this bug.
The bug is described here by the Checkra1n team. They also propose a solution, changing a RESET command to a manual reset by repluging the cable.

Loading untrusted bootchain

It appears gaster load is not working properly on A9 devices.
Neither does gaster pwn, possibly the fix is to clear usb handle:

gaster/gaster.c

Line 1893 in 7ffffff

send_usb_control_request_no_data(handle, 0x21, DFU_CLR_STATUS, 0, 0, 0, NULL);

the issue with loading images might be the 'go' command:

gaster/gaster.c

Line 1904 in 7ffffff

ret = recovery_send_data(handle, ibec, ibec_len, "go");

Hey @0x7ff!
Having issue with the A10 pwned DFU.
The exploit work on A10 but when sending iBSS there is no device action... The device do not accept the iBSS files, when using them with ipwndfu + rmsigchecks they work fine.

After sending iBSS (even after multiple tries) it stays here:
