Python Fundamentals Lab

Welcome to the Python Fundamentals Lab! This lab is designed to give you hands-on experience with the essential features of Python programming. The lab consists of six exercises, each focused on a particular aspect of the Python language.

• Exercise 1: Variables - variables.py
• Exercise 2: Basic Operations - basic_operations.py
• Exercise 3: Lists and Dictionaries lists_and_dicts.py
• Exercise 4: Control Flow - control_flow.py
• Exercise 5: Functions - functions.py
• Exercise 6: Libraries and Modules - libraries.py

How to Use This Lab

1. Clone this repository to your local machine.
2. Navigate to each exercise directory and open the Python file (.py) in a text editor of your choice.
3. Read the instructions and comments in each Python file for guidelines on how to complete the exercise.
4. Run the corresponding test file to check your solution.

Running Tests

To run the tests for each exercise, navigate to the root directory of the lab and run the following commands in your terminal:

python -m unittest tests/test_variables.py
python -m unittest tests/test_basic_operations.py
python -m unittest tests/test_lists_and_dicts.py
python -m unittest tests/test_control_flow.py
python -m unittest tests/test_functions.py
python -m unittest tests/test_libraries.py
python -m unittest tests/test_file_io.py
