bag-node's Issues

:) transisiton

In item-info, the :) transitions from a liked to unliked are weird.

Onboarding issue

  1. User creates account
  2. User cannot query socket.io and gets back nothing

Auto-updating of store on item_info view

Steps to reproduce:
0. Make sure you have no stores configured

  1. Add a new foodstuff
  2. On its item_info page, add a new store (it will say "no stores")
  3. Click on the button to add stores to my stores
  4. Add a store
  5. Switch back to the bag view
  6. It will still say "no stores", though at this point it should have updated.

Stores we should have

What stores do we need?

Round one:

  • Wegmans
  • Price Chopper / Market 32
  • Aldi
  • Trader Joes
  • Whole foods
  • Tops

Round Two:

  • Shop Rite
  • Kings

Spinners on all pages

Until something has loaded, show a spinner. And, throw in some encouraging messages, too. (ala Slack)

Strikethrough Problem

Bag items, when crossed off, end up going longer than the cross. Add an elipsis (check .no-elipsis)

Now, just add elipsis.....

Payment: What to test

  • User can login
  • User can pick a plan
    • The user is prompted for payment
    • Depending on the plan, the correct features are selected:
      • Free:Delete all private items and custom prices
      • Pro: Delete all custom prices
      • Pro: Don't delete anything
    • Let the user know we were successful.

No pictures for foodstuffs/recipes

  • Where will we upload this? I'm thinking something like amazon s3 or possibly contracting out to something like imgur? (Probably s3)
  • How will we get all the photos? Hire a graphic artist? Take them of real food? Will I do it or somebody else?

Redo the whole quantity setup

I'm thinking a big + and - button (with quantity in the middle) to increase and decrease quantity that is accessible from item-info.

delete picks

Users should be able to swipe picks and delete them. Internally:

  • we delete them from the picks object
  • we log in the picks object deleted picks
  • these are filtered out during the pick-ing process.

Bag recipe contents names differeing sizes

Each item has a different font size (b/c of differing lengths) - we can solve this by:

  1. making everything one size, but that could cause other issues
  2. making mommy's entries less verbose, by either paying people to read through it or writing some code to do a big map through the whole db.
