2016rshah.github.io's Issues

Add references to TJ, TJHSST, etc.

For SEO purposes, I need to include aliases for "Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology" with things like TJ or TJHSST somewhere on the site.

Mobile: overflow in the x direction

There is just a bit of y-overflow for some reason so perhaps making that hidden would stop users from inadvertently scrolling side to side. As far as I know it won't cut any content off.

Mobile: languages look like page titles

The languages all have a text size that is way too big. It makes them look like a page title and it makes the Work Experience title blend in. Make the text size smaller or change the typography or differentiate somehow.

Automate bottom left grid-space

Right now the code in the bottom left is static. Hopefully I can pull a different file from each github repo to show a new file on every refresh eventually. Also, make sure the links on the back are updated accordingly.

Make pictures center

Right now the overflow just cuts from the bottom but on some pictures (like the TJMUN one) I want it to cut equally from the top and bottom so it is centered vertically. Not a big thing, but it will make everything look nicer.

About link --> rshah.io

I wasn't sure if you kept it the same on purpose or you just forgot to change it but it redirects to rshah.io (old site?) which seems empty.

Update plans

  • Mention Math + CS double major
  • Put UT before TJ
  • Update visited countries with Spain + Morocco
  • Add Originate
  • Remove the "ever since I started learning Haskell" thing
  • UToPiA with Isil and current work in synthesis
  • Make link to blog more prominent

Profile picture is cut off

On my laptop (1366x768) the profile picture is cut off but when I switch to a monitor it seems fine. I'm thinking it's a problem with the padding on the container?

Make shrug bigger on mobile

Use an h1 tag or use CSS to make the font bigger or something so you don't have to zoom in on mobile to c/p
