Converts sid files back to GoatTracker2 sng files. Note: sid files need to have been generated via GoatTracker2.

Usage

usage: ./sid2sng [options...] sid-file [sng-file]
 -nopulse
 -nofilter
 -noinstrvib
 -fixedparams
 -nowavedelay

FAQ

• I get an error! Try supplying some of the options. Often, you will need -fixedparams. Good luck!

• Where is the pulse wave? Try it with -nowavedelay.

Problem with compiling

when i try to compile the program with visual studio and cmake i get errors
when i make the projects with cmake i get no errors but when i try to compile the solution in vs 2019 i get alot of ferrors and warnings
so im wondering. what do you use for compiling this?

pattern size

Many songs were split with songsplit in smaller pattern sizes before packing. Perhaps an option to join them back would be useful.

Problems compiling in Visual Studio 2019

I have been trying to compile the C++ project file in Visual Studio 2019. It results as no errors, but I cannot seem to make this program into an EXEcutable or test run it. A shame really as I had a tune I originally did in GoatTracker for one of my ongoing game projects, but I need to extract the "Get Ready and Game Over" jingles and use those in other tunes for the game project.

Feature request: Goattracker 1.0 sid compatibility

Does not work at all ...

After compiling the tool and testing it against different SID files, I've got only error messages.

• Last_Ninja.sid: Segmentation fault
• Shades.sid: Segmentation fault
• Commando.sid: No freq table
• Ghosts_n_Goblins.sid: No freq table
• Kettle.sid: No freq table

SID-Files downloaded from HVSID-Collection.

Without time consuming analysis it's not possible to find causes for that and maybe the files i picked may never be converted. However due to lack of documentation it's hard to guess with which types of files it might work. At least one reference file would probably help.

Would be great if the problem could be tracked down. Maybe it is OS related or maybe I'm using it wrong.

CMake: 3.25.0
