If an account is in the whitelist, display a "verified by ESL" icon next to their tweets.

White-list Twitter accounts

hello,

The Chrome extension thinks some genuine Twitter accounts are fake or scam.

Is there a way to create a whitelist with accounts to make sure the extension doesn't flag genuine tweets as scam?

[Twitter] Don't run check on twitter verified accounts

• Check the Twitter policy on what happens if a verified account changes their @ handle.
• Implement logic to skip Twitter verified accounts on the false-account check if after changing their @ handle, twitter verification is lost.

Equivalent Firefox Extension

Would be helpful. I might look at porting it in the coming weeks if I have time, mostly putting this issue here as a reminder.

@409H How do I get the Twitter ID of a user? I assume that is what the second field

TwitterAccount workerfile to grab the whitelist

• For initial launch, we are using a hardcoded JSON object for the whitelist. Modify this to consume the whitelist hosted on GitHub.
