4nykey's Issues

megasync segmentation fault

Hi, thank you for your work.
Recently the megasyn-sdk's manifest was updated. After the update I wasn't able to open megasync, and there was this message:

MEGAprivate ERROR DUMP Application: MEGAsync Version code: 3606.0 Module name: megasync Operating system: Linux System version: gentoo/#1 SMP Sat Aug 11 08:51:09 CEST 2018 System release: 4.14.61-gentoo System arch: x86_64 Error info: Segmentation fault (11) at address 0x7f8e72569b78 Stacktrace: /usr/lib64/libQt5Widgets.so.5(_ZTI7QDialog+0) [0x7f8e72569b78] /usr/lib64/libQt5Widgets.so.5(_ZTI7QDialog+0) [0x7f8e72569b78]

I have removed net-misc/megasync and net-misc/meganz-sdk, and re-emerged them. Now it works fine. I use KDE.

Is www-client/torbrowser a source or a binary package?

Hmm, https://github.com/4nykey/4nykey/blob/master/www-client/torbrowser/torbrowser-52.9.0.7.5.6.2.1.ebuild downloads the tor-browser-linux64-7.5.6_en-US.tar.xz file. And it seems to contain only lots of .so binaries. I don't see any source code in there.
Does it mean that this ebuild is actually not building from source, but just installing a binary tor-browser? If so, then it should be called www-client/torbrowser-bin, just like www-client/firefox-bin or www-client/seamonkey-bin.

media-libs/qm-dsp: cblas.h: No such file or directory

This error appears in hmm.c (there is only one place, where cblas is included).
eselect choice is configured, but it seems that pkg-config is not used (yet cblas.pc seem to be eselected, since it is not in qlist output).

My arch is amd64, here is error output:

x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -O2 -march=native -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-delete-null-pointer-checks -Wno-error -Wno-error -Wno-error -Wno-error -Wno-error -fPIC -DUSE_PTHREADS -I. -DNO_BLAS_WRAP -DADD_ -Iext/kissfft -Iext/kissfft/tools -Dkiss_fft_scalar=double -c -o hmm/hmm.o hmm/hmm.c

Update:
Looks like it is not supposed to be compiled with external cblas, clapack, etc.

net-misc/megasync-3.7.1.0 depends on libraw

Upgrade of megasync-3.6.7.0 to 3.7.1.0 hits a build error:
cannot find -lraw
Adding 'USE=raw' to make.conf installs needed libraries 'libraw' and 'libopenraw'. Maybe emerging only those packages is sufficient without adding 'raw' use flag, but I'm too lazy to prove it...

ardour-6_pre[-bundled-libs]: better versioned dependencies

Current stabilized fluidsynth is 1.1.11, while 2.0.4 is keyworded.
Requirement for fluidsynth >= 2.0.1 is from configuration.

I can't find, where it is defined before runing src_configure(). The only confirmation are two lines in build/config.log:

build/config.log:210:Checking for 'fluidsynth' >= 2.0.1

Update: caused by --use-external-libs config option.

www-client/torbrowser: add use flag to {en,dis}able google location

This part of the ebuild failed my audit:

# Setup api key for location services
echo -n "${_google_api_key}" > "${S}"/google-api-key
mozconfig_annotate '' --with-google-api-keyfile="${S}/google-api-key"

The audience for torbrowser is mostly people really caring about privacy, so it would be nice to be able to disable this part with a use flag.

build error with megasync-3.7.1.0_p20180924

I noticed the megasync ebuild is a symlink to the 9999 build and was wondering if somehow the dependencies weren't getting updated. I tried to emerge them and noticed they required accept_keywords and I added the following:

=net-misc/megacmd-1.0.0
=net-misc/meganz-sdk-3.4.1_pre20180926

...and re-emerged those packages. I noticed I didn't have this problem on another box since it used >= instead of = for the accept_keywords. Does megasync's ebuild need to be updated to depend on the latest versions of its dependencies?

OpenFX-Arena no longer builds

Weird error, might be due to the lib requiring a different build procedure now.

Can't get gpaste extension working

I have installed gpaste 3.34.1 on the latest stable GNOME with systemd, but I was unable to add the extension to the panel.

First, there was an error about not being able to find the "Settings schema", which I fixed by running sudo glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas.

But now, I'm getting:

gnome-shell[2041]: Received error from DBus search provider org.gnome.GPaste.Ui.desktop: Gio.IOErrorEnum: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.systemd1.NoSuchUnit: Unit dbus-org.gnome.GPaste.service not found.

dbus-daemon[1973]: [session uid=1000 pid=1973] Activation via systemd failed for unit 'org.gnome.GPaste.Ui.service': Unit org.gnome.GPaste.Ui.service not found.

Any ideas? Thanks!

www-client/torbrowser: UI is broken

I've tried to build www-client/torbrowser with the following USE flags:

www-client/torbrowser-68.2.0.9.0.0.1.1::4nykey was built with the following:
USE="dbus eme-free hardened hwaccel lto pulseaudio screenshot startup-notification system-av1 system-harfbuzz system-icu system-jpeg system-libevent system-libvpx system-sqlite system-webp wifi -bindist -clang -custom-cflags -custom-optimization -debug -geckodriver -gmp-autoupdate -jack (-neon) -pgo (-selinux) -test -wayland" ABI_X86="(64)" CPU_FLAGS_X86="avx2"

It did compile successfully, but the UI is broken for some reason.
See the image:
Screenshot

It also logs following errors:

JavaScript error: chrome://torbutton/content/tor-circuit-display.js, line 442: TypeError: myController is null
JavaScript error: chrome://torbutton/content/tor-circuit-display.js, line 442: TypeError: myController is null

Building with:

www-client/torbrowser-68.2.0.9.0.0.1.1::4nykey was built with the following:
USE="dbus gmp-autoupdate pulseaudio screenshot startup-notification system-av1 system-harfbuzz system-icu system-jpeg system-libevent system-libvpx system-sqlite system-webp wifi -bindist -clang -custom-cflags -custom-optimization -debug -eme-free -geckodriver -hardened -hwaccel -jack -lto (-neon) -pgo (-selinux) -test -wayland" ABI_X86="(64)" CPU_FLAGS_X86="avx2"

didn't help either.

What is wrong here?

Circular depenencies on dev-python/{defcon,fontPens,fontParts} when installing dev-util/afdko

Hi,
Sorry for bugging you. I wanted to install dev-util/afdko from your overlay but unfortunately it bails out on circular dependencies:

localhost ~ # emerge -av1 afdko

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

 * Note that circular dependencies can often be avoided by temporarily
 * disabling USE flags that trigger optional dependencies.

Hard to say how to fix it as looking into requirements.txt and dev-requirements of fontPens and fontParts github repositories reveal they do have a circular dependency via "defcon[pens]" dependency.

Any ideas how to install those packages?

MLT and Flowblade's segfault

With last flowblade release is some bug: it segfault without any errors message when start. Long time needed to find why. Thats are:
for MLT

  1. Change every "sdl2" to "sdl" in mlt's EBUILD!
  2. Change SRC_URI="https://github.com/mltframework/mlt/archive/v${P}.tar.gz" (where P must be 6.14.0)
for Flowblade no need any changes!
After this (re)build mlt and (re)install flowblade get working prog.
Any way thank you by work off ebuild this application!
