org.hibernate.hql.internal.ast.QuerySyntaxException: ContactEntity is not mapped [from ContactEntity]

I am struggling to understand how hibernate5 plugin maps the entities, whenever I try to change the default datasource the project comes with I get:

org.hibernate.hql.internal.ast.QuerySyntaxException: ContactEntity is not mapped [from ContactEntity]

when I connect to a sample local database in H2 with the following configuration:

dataSource.driverClassName=org.H2.Driver
dataSource.pool.idleTimeout=60000
dataSource.pool.minimumIdle=5
dataSource.pool.maximumPoolSize=15
dataSource.dbCreate=create
dataSource.url=jdbc:h2:./db/SIBAC2.db

It does run the DDL bundled with the project, creates the table, but it does not map the contact entity described within the code. I don't understand why it runs with the configuration it comes with but when I place mine it says it is not mapped.
