Include both the "button" and the implicit click templates.

Clarify MAST portal vs HLSP DOIs

Authors can use the MAST portal to create collection DOIs, can find the DOI of an HLSP, and can request a HLSP for data submission. These workflows should be made clear(er).

Add CANFAR astronomy repository

Add mention and policies around astronomers use of Canadian Advanced Network for Astronomical Research (CANFAR) repository that issues DOI for data.

Clarify Software References in Repositories Tutorial only correspond to repositories

The current Repositories Tutorial gives the impression that software references must follow the DOI repositories workflow. While this is our preferred model, other ways to refer to code that cannot be so archived are acceptable and need to be documented.

Add to Repository Tutorial

Deposits to DOI Repositories do not need to pass through Github

This has proven confusing, with authors thinking they need to deposit to Github to then deposit to Zenodo.

[MAJOR] Provide more details on how to get good quality data citations

The current recs are basic wrt using doi2bib and the sketch of the necessary bibtex. Important additions include:

• Dealing with bad data (ESA, etc)
• Fixing author metadata issues (and when you can't)
• Adding "version" -- and access dates
• add crosscite

Rename all examples to AuthorYear and update ReadMe's with final article DOIs.

Clarify IPAC-related DOI usage recs

IPAC is minting DOIs for many kinds of projects/subentities (NED, IRSA, etc). It is unnecessary to list these individually, but it should be made clear for the author which entities have DOIs and under what circumstances they would use them (all).

We need to update this document post-zenodo upgrade. This includes details about the AAS community, curation edits and data review if implemented. More details to follow.

The AAS is not minting DOIs for data; authors should let repositories do it for them.

per the Zenodo step that suggests that the DOI might come from a source other than Zenodo.
