job-listing-app's Issues

Unique email validation

A unique email validation error is not shown on the client-side. Potentially a bug caused by the pre ("save") validation that hashes the user's password prior to user save. If I add in custom validation to check the uniqueness of the email address, the user data gets stored in the db with internal server error message being displayed on the client-side. Also, the jwt token is not stored on the user collection.

Refactor admin sidebar

Currently, the admin sidebar has repeated code and the dropdown button which shows the hidden link has its own separate state, which I believe is not ideal.

User logouts on page refresh

Users are authenticated with the help of jwt tokens. Currently, the tokens are not stored on the client-side neither is it stored in the local storage. As a result of the page refresh, the user logs out of the current session.
