More elegant fades between gallery modes

As you switch to and from lightbox mode, the position and size of image jumps instantaneously, while the background fades in and out gradually. This doesn't look good. Do something about it.

Caption opacity fix

gallery-main-caption stays at opacity 1 on page load, so hovering on the first photo of the gallery fades the same

Remove page bottom scrollbar

Can artists exhibit without selling?

Should we allow artists to showcase work on this website without intention to sell? On one hand it will increase our visibility and content. On the other hand, it may annoy clients that a lot of the content hosted is not purchase-able. Although later on we can have a search tool with 'purchase-able' filter.

In grid mode, when pointer moves away from hovering over thumbnail, remove bottom caption.

h2 is 25px, h3 is 23 px. h2 is used in several places. h3 is used in the gallery name in artist page. Perhaps reduce h3 size, and the style of the latter could be specialized instead of borrowing from h3.

Port as much of what the js is doing as possible to loading and unloading stylesheets. Then we can just edit the css for style stuff and not have to worry about writing js code.

(and not uploaded itself), instead of server-side scripts generating relatively unchanging content every time a page

Local info -> online database

Eventually all local information (text) files must be moved to the online database. Artists and genres etc must be
interlinked information, without redundancy (hopefully). (Perhaps create a row entry for each photo with artist,
genre, buy url etc fields, and populate site pages with content drawn from this database using filters and
sortings).
