JQuery UI: sorting doesn't work

On the voting page for runoff elections, when the sortable method is called on the list, the list elements still don't move.

Error executing scripts retrieved via ajax

When the dashboard page is retrieved, the nonce on the script tag matches the one that was sent out with the header of the original document, but the browser refuses to execute the script citing it as a violation of the Content-Security-Policy. The console logs the error as originating in the second line of the jquery.min.js file.

Preventing form submit event throws mdl error

Triggering event.preventDefault through JQuery listener successfully stops submit, but MDL throws error in the console.

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'classList' of null
at S. (material.min.js:9)

Doesn't affect site functionality, but find the cause of the error and try to prevent it.
