FancyGallery

The FancyGallery app allowed me to experiment with several advanced features of mobile app development:

  • Implement a bottom navigation bar
  • Make requests to REST API services via HTTPS
  • Deserialize JSON into Kotlin objects
  • Load network images into a recycler view grid
  • Display HTML content within a WebView
  • Add a progress bar to indicate loading of a WebView
  • Display map tiles within a MapView
  • Place custom coordinate markers onto a map
  • Handle user interactions with map markers
