Description

Collection of ACCORD DA tools. So far we have jbdiagnose and associated plotting. Also available is DFS calculation and associated plotting.

Getting started

Installing

cd AccordDaTools
mkdir build
cd build
cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/path/to/da_tools
make 
ctest
make install

Add DA Tools to your PATH:

export PATH=/path/to/da_tools/bin:$PATH

Contributions adding/correcting the documenation are welcome via using Pull Request.

Source code in Harmonie:src/utilities/bcov_lam but we can create scripts to produce data and plot data.

Tidy jbdiagnose FORTRAN

The FORTRAN code in jbdiagnose.F90 could do with some tidying:

• split subroutines
• reduce verbosity (add namelist entry like PRINTLEV)
• Anything else suggested by compiler warnings

plotvarbcpred needs a "-o" option to specify an output file name

plotvarbcpred needs a "-o" option to specify an output file name.

The default output file should be made more meaningful too.

Add GuessParamCfg tool

Request from Maria to add this tool.

I would like to create an ecCodes/Python3 based tool for this instead of using the old BUFRDC/FORTRAN tool.

diagcov missing Météo France L90 definition

The Météo France 90 level definition is not available.

New definition file needs to be added.
