I know this project has been stale for a couple years now, but I figured it was worth a shot anyways.
I'm not an expert on using JTAG (actually, this is my first time using it apart from playing SVF's to a CLPD). I successfully dumped the stock firmware (twice, the files both matched) and flashed the DFU-bootloader. Everything works, I can connect to the board with dfu-util.
After this, I wanted to see if I could flash the original firmware back onto the board, so I did that (flash was successful because I read it back and it matched the first dump). However, the board seems to be dead. The LEDs don't light up and it doesn't show up in device manager.
Is there something I missed after flashing the stock firmware back onto the board?
I ran these commands via openocd in sequence:
reset halt
flash write_image erase fabbster_firmware.bin 0x0 bin
After this I closed openocd and disconnected the JTAG cable from my board.
If I flash the stock firmware with DFU-bootloader (modified the original flash dump by removing the first 0x4000 bytes), the 3 LEDs on the side stay on indefinitely, until I cut the power.
Hope you can help, but it isn't a big deal if I can't get this board working again (I'm currently not using it, and klipper doesn't seem to support boards with shift registers anyways...)
