Introduction

I am a well rounded experienced Front-end developer who uses current frontend technologies including JavaScript and NodeJS as creative programming solutions to help increase engagement or improve websites performance.

I have experience handling a range of digital projects, from HTML email marketing campaigns to, micro sites and full edged websites. I use PHP based CMS’s and can develop solutions using PHP frameworks.

I have played a key role in managing projects with internal company departments and external contractors to ensure high-quality web updates and new implementations are successfully deployed to websites.

Im a committed team player who works extremely well with departments providing them with creative solutions to help them achieve their project goals. My experience and passion also means that I love to share my technical knowledge to provide non technical team members any assistance I can to help them better achieve their business goals.

Past Achievements at iTech Media

I developed a workflow using a combination of BASH & Node JS to produce hard coded HTML/PHP templates. This process enabled a reduction in production time of over 70%. In some cases completely eliminating costs for external contractors.

Developing a Node JS web crawler script to assist a team of three Front End Developers to re-factor a high traffic flagship, 900+ page website from hard coded PHP/HTML templates to Twig templates in less than 6 months.

In preparation for Google mobile performance update, I Implemented an Automated script using Google Lighthouse to audit 6 150+ page websites in a 4 week period.

General Tasks at iTech Media

I have provided Front End support for 13 high traffic websites over a period of 24 months, completing over 300 small tasks and projects. Theses have ranged from page Debugging and optimisation to complete website refactors.

I have delivered over 100 technical project briefs for Designer and Developer contractors to provide new user experiences.

I have worked in with a team of developers to, provide code matainablity by refactoring websites and implementing new website widgets using SASS and BEM methodologies

I have Introduced automated workflows to create tailored website audits using Node JS and Google Lighthouse CLI
