At this point I still haven't figured out a great way to persist the options. However, it is possible to set the initial state of the options when generating the report. I think for now that's sufficient.

I think its an interesting idea. Are you looking to just persist options after a refresh or after a new test run? How would you identify one test report from another in local storage? Or are you thinking these would more like global options applied to all test reports?

I was thinking about making them global, that would be the most intuitive I think. But the test file name is a unique identifier that could be used to store options otherwise. And persistence should be after refreshing an existing test and running new tests.
