[Gen 3] Fishing Encounter Slots (Super Rod)

Well, after the long conversation of yesterday, i've decided to check a little more. Here I'll post things i'm 100% sure of. And this will help to make things clear.

And i've retried since, I'm having the same issue in any route. So for the moment :

  • Slot 3 and 4 in Pokemon Games are set in the Encounter Slot 4. Aka if you search for Encounter Slot 4 in RNG Reporter, you'll have the 3 & 4 Pokemon, and no way to predict which one you'll fish.

I'll edit if I can find more things.

Shiny ID Question or Bug

Hi there. I'm probably opening this in error. If so feel free to close it.

I'm trying to generate a Legit Shiny Manaphy from the Pokémon Ranger game with PKHeX. I can use your tool to get a proper PID for a Non shiny Manaphy, as soon as i use the SID provided along with the PID the Manaphy, Providing PKHeX is correct, shows as illegal.

Is there something special I need to do that I'm not doing to get a proper shiny value?

FRLG/E Pandora's Box shows wrong frames

I compared your Pandora's Box of FRLG/E with this app. Pandora's Box shows wrong frame as you can see in here. In the image the error is -3748 frames, but it changes for every TID. I also tried to get the correct SID with both apps frames to confirm this error

Colo/XD Main window bug

The last 4 rows in any given Colo/XD Main window search seem to be bugged, replacing the PID 16bit low of the 4th last row and all of the PID for the last 3 rows to be replaced with 0's. It also sets the SpA, SpD and Spe IVs of the last row to 0, and changes all of the gender ratios to be F.

Allow Seed to Time and Search Flips windows (presumably more windows) to be resized.

As of currently, my computer has an issue where the windows are not properly sized and they cannot be resized in any way. They must also be closed using the taskbar. This issue was also present in Slashmolder's RNG Reporter.

I was going to fork this and fix it then request a merge, but I don't know C#, only C and C++. I can do some testing to see if any other windows need this fix, but I'm fairly certain only Seed to Time and Search Flips are the only ones.

TogamiCalc Issues

  • Min/Max frames cannot go over 2^32
  • Add scenario where the calibrated and target seeds re the same

Colo/XD Pandora's Box discrepancies

As discussed briefly on IRC, here are the discrepancies that I noticed in the Colo/XD Pandora's Box while attempting to RNG a TID/SID in European Colo.

Another thing I noticed was this (and it may potentially be entirely user error on my part due to me not knowing how to properly use the program, but as far as I can work out it's not me).

After a great deal of trial and error, I managed to get my IDs to generate on the target frame (see frame = 0). However, I was not rewarded with the correct IDs! Instead of getting TID: 40687 SID: 11775 like the program says I should, I got TID: 19703 SID: 02839. I cross-checked this with this tool which told me I needed to do two more advances, but this unfortunately advanced me past my target (pretty sure I got a 6 frame advancment instead of a 2 frame advancment). But yeah, like I said - not sure if this is an issue with my procedure or with your tool, but it could be worth looking into regardless. Thanks!

Entralink Ecounter Typer error

The Entralink Encounter Type search shows wrong nature frames (+2 for all pokemon, +1 for Arceus) and the PIDs are wrong

Gen 5 time finder inconsistency loading changed profiles

Suggestion - TID / SID profile list

Hi,

Maybe it's a stupid request but well, I can try.

Could it be possible to have a little place to put ALL the TID / SID with the right game and so the right Generation. This way people could just load a list in the Time Finder with the corresponding generations. And on the main menu every TID / SID would be available.

Really usefull for little minds like me T-T

Feature Request - Sorting results in Pandora's Box by ID/SID

Hello!

While trying to Gen4 RNG using Pandora's Box's Shiny PID seed finder, we get various seeds with various TID & SIDs. I was wondering if it was possible to implement a sort the resultant seeds according to TID or SID by clicking on the column name. Just like how it works in Time Finder. It will be easier to find a more desirable TID when we can search in an sorted manner.

Gen 5 Time Finder IV Frame Offset?

RNG Reporter Version 10.3.2

In Gen 5 Time Finder for Stationary I'm searching for IV frames for B2 entralink RNG, and when I paste the seeds into the Main Window the IV frames are sometimes different than those given from Time Finder. When searching for seeds with no keypresses the IV frames both match up and after capturing the Pokemon are all correct ingame as well. However, when searching with one keypress some of the frames are not matching up between Time Finder and Main Window. The Main Window IV frames match to those ingame after capturing the Pokemon, so those can be assumed to be correctly predicted.

  • IV frames are not matching up between Time Finder and Main Window, however ingame the Main Window IV frames given seem to be correct

  • Same seed as above with the IV frames being 5 and 6 instead of what was given in Time Finder

  • IV frames match between Time Finder and Main Window for no keypresses

I searched for 1 keypress and so far those with Start, Select, L, and Right are wrong. Y, B, and Down are correct.

The other day I used the same build to RNG a wild Ditto with keypresses and IV frame advancements and that was perfect, so not sure if the issue is just with Stationary or not.

Suggestion - Pokemon Box Eggs RNG

I wanted to see if it's possible to RNG Pokemon Box Egg, for IVs, since there's a way to make it Shiny via TID/SID RNG Abuse within the PID of the egg, if so can you do make a guide/program for it, thank you!
