Fixed it self for me after flake update. I close this Issue.
from auto-cpufreq.
I also tried the version from nixpkgs unstable and it has the same problem. It is quite strange because using the flake I ran it with sudo auto-cpufreq --live
which was working perfectly fine.

Same behavior
from auto-cpufreq.
I can't reproduce this. The service doesn't crash for me when using the flake version.
Have you pulled from the latest commit?
Also you can try running sudo auto-cpufreq --daemon
to see if there is an error or other output
from auto-cpufreq.
No errors using sudo auto-cpufreq --daemon
. As OP states it starts perfectly fine when using systemctl start
after boot. I also tried not to use inputs.nixpkgs.follows = "nixpkgs";
to ensure it is not something introduced by another dependency.
Is there a way to get more output than the four lines (I get the same as OP) of journalctl
?

Not that I know of, which I think points to this being an issue outside of auto-cpufreq but we'll see.

This seems unlikely since OP and I have the same dependency versions, but I'll look into this.
Are you perhaps also using amd-pstate-epp
? I am using acpi-cpufreq
so that could be the common denominator here

Same here, fixed for me as well.
