adobeio-runtime's Issues

Replace WSK reference with Adobe I/O CLI Instructions

To do:

  • Replace reference to Openwhisk CLI and wskdeploy CLi with reference to AIO CLI
  • Add links to AIO CLI

Pages to update:

If I don't have a .wskprops file, where to get that?

It said:
If you have a .wskprops file, then you can use it to configure the wsk CLI, so you'll be creating actions in the namespace that is defined in that file.
But I don't have this document, where to get that or create that, thanks?

Add links to Project Firefly

  • Add a page linking to Project Firefly; with links to existing docs

    • Figure out where to place this page - consult Colene and Mihai on content & location
    • Add reference and relationship to Project Firefly
    • GitHub Actions that can be used by Runtime users
    • SDKs that can be used by Runtime users
  • Add related info to FAQ

package bindings

The documentation Package Bindings https://www.adobe.io/apis/experienceplatform/runtime/docs.html#!adobedocs/adobeio-runtime/master/guides/using_packages.md#package-bindings
when you invoke wsk action invoke --result helloMyName/hello it does not produce `

{
  "payload": "Hello <your name>"
}
instead it produces
{
  "payload": "Hello Christine"
}

I can understand why this happens as the default parameter from the previous setting in the documentation sets the default parameter to the action hence why it has a priority, but from a documentation flow perspective this can be seen as confusing.

This overrides the default parameter for the package hellopackage but if there is a default parameter set for the action nested within the package, that still takes priority to the one set by the binding. In OpenWhisk there is no way to bind to actions but only to packages and this can become problematic as you can’t delete default parameters on actions or packages to that matter
