house's Issues

Reattach / new quarter round trim in living room.

This is a product of #2 .

Basement structural improvements

House inspector found numerous structural issues.

• "Post on Slab"
• Damaged Joists
• Joist hangers needed
• Closer inspection on beam needed

Install new transition strips.

The ones in the house are terrible and not installed well.

Consult contractors - 21 March 17

Meeting w/ contractor. Need to cover the following.

• Structural changes (with engineering plans).
• Air conditioner installation.
• Duct/vent going to spare room off kitchen.
• New water heater.
• Advice on correcting floors.
• Dryer vent relocation.

Reattach backyard gate.

The gate was ripped off the wall during an open house before it was bought.

It's getting worse and has to be secured.

Assemble shed

Caulk backsplash / countertop vertex.

Trim neighbour's tree away from power and clotheslines.

Need to do this to:

• create room so more of the clothesline can be used
• relieve pressure from power line
• make room for the shed (blocks #9).

Moving

Remember:

• Have cash on hand for pizza/beer/misc.
• Make chart / map of where things should go in.
• Check when Leon's delivery is going to arrive.
• Check when Structube delivery is going to arrive.

Break down floors in back room.

For the contractor to put in the duct we need to move everything out of the back room and lift up the floor.

Fix railing in stairwell.

During the move one of the railings was ripped out of the wall while moving the mattress up the stairs.

Holes will have to be filled then the railing will have to be reattached.

Patch holes in foundation.

Talked to basement contractor, he said that there's no serious issues but the holes should just be patched using a sand/concrete mixture.

Fix gaps in floors.

Have to lift up planks and reconnect floors.
