Thank you for your feedback (and for using the issue tracker without having me yelling it :) ).

Please use explicit titles for your issues : if we have 30 issues named "shader compiler bug" we won't be able to have a clear visibility on what's wrong.
I changed the issue's title to "Component.getMaxWriteOffset() returns -1 causes compiler bug".

What is id of the instruction making Component.getMaxWriteOffset() to return -1?
