This is an impartial list compiled to help me pick a new password manager.

It was prompted by the announcement of LastPass being acquired.

The list is not an advertisement or a guarantee of any sort. Its only purpose is to list factual information for consumers to evaluate with no bias towards any of the listed password managers.

It is open to anyone to help maintain.

Encryptr doesn't have an iOS app, though they have plans to release one.

Roboform has a free version.

Please update now that Roboform has a fully functional free version.

Dashlane is not really free?

Premium is $39.99/year to sync your data to all devices.

Dashlane doesn't work on Linux

Dashlane doesn't work on Linux. Not even with Wine.

Keepass works on linux

Both keepass2 and keepassx (which is for 1.0 files) work on linux. Been using it for about 5 years now.

Addition of bitwarden

bitwarden is a GitHub project and something that appears to work very much like LastPass.
