webrtc-video-conference-tutorial's Issues

Can't get this code to work...

I have downloaded this code, and tried it on a computer with Kurento server, but it doesn't seem to work. The browser client that is created will create a "room" and open the webcam, but the browser client never receives any WebRTC streams from other browser clients.

Any suggestions on how to get it to work?

Does it require a specific version of Kurento, or any other software to be installed?

Viewer does not see the video stream if connected from different network

The application works well as long the broadcaster and viewers belong to the same network segment.
For example, if the broadcaster starts to join the service hosted at https://broadcastservice.azurewebsites.net from the machine1, all viewers connected from the same machine or some other matching within the same network segment will be able to see the video stream.
However, if the viewer is connected from some, let's say, another city (different network segment), the video will not be streamed.

My expectation is that the video is relayed and not streamed via P2P.

The one to many broadcast with Kurento isn't working.

The node modules are deprecated and even after I installed the latest versions, this error keeps popping up.
node:internal/modules/cjs/loader:936

The code without kurento with simple p2p broadcast worked fine, could you help me on this?
