This project consists of two main parts: NR Channel Estimation with CNN, and NR Phase Noise Modeling and Compensation. Simple simulations and experiments are done to understand two main concepts: How demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) is used for channel estimation and how a Convolutional Neural Network can be trained and used to improve the radio channel estimation. The impact of phase noise in a 5G OFDM system and how to use phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) in compensating the common phase error (CPE).
