url checking

Is there any interest in automated url checking in this repo?

For instance, the resources md files have a lot of links to possibly ephemeral sites. For other projects, I've done url checking using the awesome_bot tool in a ghactions script (ex. awesome_bot.yml).

Review of Jupyter Notebooks

What are we asking reviewers to do per https://data.agu.org/resources/jupyter-notebooks-guidance?

Journal-specific data and software sharing guidance may help here. The guidance is currently under development w/ multiple journal editors. The initial indication is that the ask will be lightweight, that notebooks are a helpful tool for understanding the research. Also, we wanted to support the linking, discovery, credit of notebooks since they have been highlighted as an important tool.
