Figma Wireframe Review

Hi Team!

I made a mockup for our project using Figma. Here's the link to view it: Figma Wireframe

You can zoom in/out on specific elements to get a better look at each of them. Let me know what you all think and if you have any suggestions or concerns.

Add notification system

Users should have a realtime notification system that shows all of the sessions they have completed, points they have received, and so on. The most effective solution would be to store user notification in the database and have them show up on page load.

Update the Developers.md file

Write a more detailed description on how the project can be set up locally

Allow users to update their choices in the settings page

The settings page should show a user all of their current data such as name, college, subjects and have the ability to:

• Add or remove subjects
• Update college information
• Change name
• Change password

Email should not be changed as it is the primary identifier in the database

Create A User Profile Page

Create Logout Functionality

Expected Behaviour: It redirects the user to home page and destroys the session
Current behaviour: Broken Link

Create Follow User Feature

• The users should get an option to follow a user on clicking their profile.
• A new section called feeds needs to be created where the posts of the followed users are visible.

Firebase Google Sign Up Error

I was trying to implement google sign in with Firebase for Node.js and I am getting the following error

{"code":"auth/operation-not-supported-in-this-environment","message":"This operation is not supported in the environment this application is running on. \"location.protocol\" must be http, https or chrome-extension and web storage must be enabled."}

I tried to look up the error but couldn't solve it. Seems like a compatibility issue of node and firebase I guess. Let me know if you find something useful to help with this.

Add Authentication to URLs

A user cant access a lot of routes if he/she is not logged in. But if a user hits a route in the application it does not throw an error. It needs to be fixed

Update the Readme file

There is a lot more information that can be put in the .Readme file. Add features, Highlights, etc of the application

Add a DEVELOPERS.md file

This file generally includes the following:

• How to install the project
• How to set up the project locally
• How to run the project after setup

Add a Code of Conduct

A code of conduct defines standards for how to engage in a community. Read more

Fix the UI of Complete Profile

User is shown just the subjects and college they have chosen

User does not get directed to Complete Profile even if profile is not complete

User is directed to the dashboard even when profile is not complete
