Any updates or alternatives available?

Hello!

Our team noticed this seems to no longer be working nicely with our app. We're not sure exactly when it stopped working, but we're on Ember 2.12 and it seems to behave in different strange ways for different members of my team:

• One person, on Linux, does not see the little offline box appear when internet is disconnected
• Another person (me), on Mac OS X 10.14 on Chrome, sees the offline box appear when I disconnect internet, but then the offline box does not go away when I reconnect the internet

Does anyone have any alternatives? Or is there any maintenance on this add-on planned?

Incompatible with fastboot

Just opening an issue to bring attention to the pull request opened by @devotox

The initializer throws an error when trying to set window.Offline.options in the fastboot environment.

I've been using a locally patched initializer.

Doesn't get along with Ember Inspector

Chrome 44.0.2403.125
Ember Inspector 1.8.3
Ember 1.13.5
Ember Data 1.13.7

I'm getting this on the console only when I try to load the deprecations tab of Ember Inspector which then doesn't work.

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'responseText' of null
  RSVP.Promise.xhr.onload @ VM1710:1460
  a.onprogress.a.onload @ offline.min.js:1

After uninstalling ember-offline everything worked just fine.

Doesn't work with jQuery 2?

Trying to use it and it seems to be not working with jQuery 2+ ...

How to use it

Do I only need to install it and it should work? how can I configure it ? I really can't see much from the dummy template. Thanks
