Google Places SDK for Android

This repo demonstrate the use of the Google Places SDK for Android with custom auto complete adapter.

Get Started

To get started, your app needs to meet two requirements:

• Enable google places sdk in Google Console
• Minimun Android SDK of 16 or higher

Dependencies used

Add a dependency for the new SDK client library to your app-level build.gradle:

implementation 'com.google.android.libraries.places:places:2.5.0'

Exception while returning results

W/Filter: An exception occured during performFiltering()!

Auto complete not Returning Results

Hi folk,

I am using your code for place search which is really a rewarded attempt. Well I am facing problem at returning 0 size of filtered result

results.values = filterData;
if (filterData != null) {
results.count = filterData.size();
} else {
results.count = 0;
}

I am using same code that you written. Any valueable suggestion will be appreciated.

Update to places 1.1.0

Hi, Places version 1.1.0 causes an error in Adapter and will not work.
