Problem with plugin on OJS 3.3.0.5

Greetings,

My academic library services consortium recently installed the Disqus plugin on OJS 3.3.0.5, but I am having trouble getting it to function properly.

I believe that I have configured the settings in Disqus and the OJS plugin correctly, yet the Discus commenting embed is not appearing on the abstract page of the test site I am using:

Any advice or guidance you can provide would be much appreciated!

OJS 3.2.0.3: Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned

I'm running OJS version: 3.2.0.3 (September 17, 2020 - 10:09 AM)

And when I am adding user through Users & Roles the following occurs:

GDPR compliance?

Hi,
any ideas about the GDPR compliance of the plugin? I think it plausible that disqus immediately processes (and probably also collects data) personal data in form of the user's IP. Also the embedded twitter and facebook buttons could be a problem. What do you think?

Can you add a license file?

Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned

I get the error message "Failed Ajax request or invalid JSON returned" upon:

1. Cloning the repo to plugins/generic/disqus
2. Enabling the Disqus Plugin under Settings -> Website -> Plugins
3. Clicking on Disqus Plugin -> Settings

I'm running OJS v3.1.2. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

how to install in ojs 3.1.1 (php 7)

This plugin does not work with the 3.1.2.0 OJS-version. Can you please update?

Would probably not need much changes, maybe just a secondary template hook.

call to load forum.tpl in 3.1.2 fails with fatal error

OJS 3.1.2 has a problem with the addDiscus method. Changing the line that appends to $output to
$output .= $templateMgr->fetch($this->getTemplateResource('forum.tpl'));

Makes everything work just fine.
