Develop Locally

1. Follow the installation guide to install Hugo

2. This theme uses Hugo Pipes to handle SCSS – please ensure you have the Hugo extended version installed:

    hugo version
   

3. Get "stackbit-api-key" from project menu in Stackbit dashboard

4. Run the following command to assign this key to STACKBIT_API_KEY environment variable:

    export STACKBIT_API_KEY={stackbit_netlify_api_key}
   

5. Run the following command to fetch additional site contents from Stackbit if needed:

    npx @stackbit/stackbit-pull --stackbit-pull-api-url=https://api.stackbit.com/pull/61231448de5f6200c8bc159a
   

6. Start the Hugo development server:

    hugo server
   

7. Open http://localhost:1313/ in the browser

8. 🎉

To start editing your site, you can edit the included Markdown files.

Alternatively, you can use the free on-page editing experience provided by the Stackbit Studio.
