This repository contains snippets files for Odoo, for the famous UltiSnips plugin for Vim.

How to install

Using Vundle

Add the following code in your vimrc

    " Install UltiSnips
    Plugin 'SirVer/ultisnips'

    " Install Odoo snippet
    Plugin 'akretion/vim-odoo-snippets"

Then run

    :PluginInstall

Use Ultisnips

Just take a look to the video and you will get it : http://www.sirver.net/blog/2012/01/08/second-episode-of-ultisnips-screencast/

The main objectif is to avoid simplify the snippet for creating or inheriting a new class for exemple when you inherit the class 'ResCompany' you need to tap 'ResCompany' and then 'res.company'. The snippet should convert it for you ;)
