Show remaining time in notification

I love this open source app but I only miss a little thing: I'd like to be able to know remaining time without changing my current app when HourGlass is running in background. For this I'd like the notification to showo me remaning time.

Bug found in hourglass when continuous ring is enabled

Expected behavior

The application should continue to work perfectly when continuous ring alert is enabled.

Actual behavior

The application crashes when the ring alert is set to continuous

How to reproduce

1. Download the app from fdroid.
2. Launch the app.
3. Click on the recycle icon in the left side of the bottom part of the screen that is next to "about"
4. Click on the bottom part of upper section of the hourglass image.
5. Wait stops the ring stops. The application closes and crashed

• Browser: hourglass app version 1.6
• Operating system: android 6.0 infinix Note 3

Make it look realistic

Currently the hourglass flip every x seconds. Hourglasses doesn't work that way, it would be visually useful if you made the app imitate a real hourglass.

Add continuous notification

Hi
I love this open source app and using it quite often. But sometimes my phone is in my pocket and I'm listening to music and I miss the time ended notification ! The vibration is short, easy to miss, same thing for the notifications sounds. I'd find "logical" to have a continuous notification that vibrates and rings until I manually stop it (from notification bar or inside app).
Is this feature planned for a future release ?

time sllder vertical

If the time sllder would be vertical instead of horizontal, it would be easier to put the time more "fine grained" because the slider would be longer.

Manual time entry

Hello, I find it difficult to set the timer for a specific time like 1 minute. I think it would be nice to be able to enter a time manually with the keyboard.

If I put put hourglass to 5 minutes, start the countdown and when move the from vertical to horizontal hourglass stops the countdown and jumps back otherwise to 5 minutes.

improve manual time entry

Thanks for hourglass. I use the manual time entry a lot (I use it to time student group discussions). I believe it could be made much easier to use:

1. when I enter the textfield, the cursor is positioned somewhere. It would be nice to either preselect all minutes or all seconds, depending on where I put the focus.
2. By default, all minutes should be selected, so that I can just start typing the number of minutes I need (and ideally pop up the keyboard automatically as well.
3. When I delete everything and just enter 10, hourglass returns to the main screen, ignoring my entry. It should recognize 10 as 10:00.

option for changing alarm sound

For first thank you for the nice app. But it would be nice to have an option for changing the alarm sound, because sometimes it's useful to have louder or stronger sound.
