Hi! I'm Alex, and I've been doing this to myself for 8 years. Thankfully most of my employers in that time have used Github, because I spend a lot of time here anyways! For instance, I'm learning Rust by making a map game, and implementing some hard-learned GraphQL practices in a Typescript package @athenajs/core. Previously, I've dabbled in everything from games to auto-generated VMware clients to MVC frameworks. I'm also a violinist, cellist, and cyclist; so if I'm not writing, I'm likely dodging potholes or repeating measures.

File uploading

Might want this as a separate service, but it'd be interesting to look into direct integration.

HTML injection

Users are able to send valid HTML as chat messages. Other users render these messages as HTML.

Login link broken

The inital "Please log in" link is broken and displays the raw HTML, as a direct result of #9.

Spam filter

Probably should implement a spam filter. Any suggestions on how to do it are welcome; right now I'm leaning towards a "messages per second" rule.

Multiple logins from the same user

Users can log in multiple times with the same account. Kicking (and inherently banning) still works on all connections, but it's annoying in /list and should be fixed.

Buffer

Need to implement a buffer that plays back the last ten or so lines of chat for new sessions.
