Unable to configure access data

I have two FTP Servers the same names, however depending on the user is sent a different access. So I can't get access to both, just one of them!

Symlinks aren't rendered with an icon in list view

It just gets a missing image icon. Instead it should be a folder badged with the symlink emblem

Can't connect to remote in Flatpak

Probably have to add something about GVFS to the manifest, if that's how connecting works?

Add appdata to be translated

Translating appdata.xml file will help people to know about your app in the AppCenter. For example mostly French users won't download the app if it's description is in English, 'cause they will think that the app isn't translated and won't take time to read if its not translated.

Russian folder names are displayed incorrectly

Instead of names in Russian, a meaningless set of characters is displayed.

Add "Open In" menu

In addition to the regular quick open item, there should be the full "Open In" submenu as in Files

Let me know if I'm not connected to the network

Taxi should show an alert view if there is no network connection available much like AppCenter

Package as Flatpak for elementary OS 6

As you might have heard, AppCenter is going Flatpak! For elementary OS 6, we will not longer be accepting Debian packaging, so your app will need to be updated.

Also, in case you missed it, elementary OS 6 beta 2 is now available. This is a great time to get your app packaged up as Flatpak and test that everything is working before the final release. AppCenter submission for OS 6 will be open soon, so don't delay :)

Can't close a connection

It doesn't seem to be a clear way to close a connection/disconnect, without shutting down the app.

Add support for connecting via SFTP using keys

• Allow users to connect to the SFTP server using SSH private keys.
• An option to choose default path ( ~/.ssh/id_rsa ) or custom path will be beneficial.

how do i edit eny file i cant find any option

can't transfer or download files/folders

Hello i installed Taxi from AppCenter

i can connect to my ftp account
i can browse folders and see my files
but i can't download any of them and i can't transfer any selected file or folder to my server using the "transfer"/"download" icon buttons.

the only way that works is dragging & dropping folders or files

Prevent Connection if URL is empty

Currently, the app will try to connect even if you hit enter on the empty URL

It (I assume) isn't very difficult to do on a simpler app like this.

Appstream tests fail

AppCenter ran a bunch of tests on your appstream file. These are the results.

Disconnect folders when closing

Taxi mounts remote folders for all to see, but doesn't unmount them when it closes

Add an interface to edit bookmarks

I had to chance my password in my remote server and now I can't access it using Taxi. I should be able to edit my bookmark or at least delete it to create a new one.

Bookmarks menu doesn't populate entry

Seems like something is broken with the bookmarks menu. Clicking an item doesn't populate the entry or make a connection to that server

I can't see (hidden) dot files like here on Filezilla:

Is there a way I can do that with Taxi?

Select all files

It's pretty tedious to manually select all folders and files, when i want to transfer the whole content of a folder. A "select all" checkbox would be awesome!

Fix Home Page on AppCenter

In the App Center, the application home page is directed to the Sequeler project. Is it possible to fix this?

In this file is correct but in Appcenter doesn't.

Move files to trash instead of instantly deleting, or (optionally) prompt for confirmation

Some might want to delete, bypassing the trash, and maybe that could be a checkbox in the context menu (similar to how Files does single-click folder selection).

However, the "Delete" option currently present in Taxi's context menu should at least ask the user for confirmation, by default.

Can't connect to my FTP

I tried connecting to my ftp server but I can't, I am using the same configuration in Filezilla and its working.

Can we have some sort of error notice, I don't know what's wrong. It just shows Can't connect.

Require explicit FTP over TLS

Hello,

I tried to use Taxi, but there is a missing option.
I setup my FTP Server that only connection over TLS are allowed.
Filezilla has an option for this.
Is it possible to add this to Taxi too?

Transfer Progress Bar

Could you create a transfer progress bar?

Example:

Selection doesn't apply to delete item

If you select several items and then click use the "Delete" menuitem, it only deletes the one you right clicked on

Update pathbar style in elementary 6

Not sure who's end this is on, but as it is right now the pathbar below the headerbar is not stlyed fully (a shadow above and below would be appropriate imo)
