Under System>State/County/City, we're still using this form to add Location
However, this is not appropriate anymore. Could we disable the Add Location under System > State/County/City? Only displaying is needed (it means we can view the Location grouped by Container Company and search for some field).
This has low priority. Just disabling/hiding the button "Add Location" is enough for this version.
[ Report feature] Fix GUI
Under "Employees", if there is no employee data, it reads "There are not any employees in current location. Please upload surplus employee data file ! That message pops up very briefly when I open the report for the first time. If I close the report and reopen, that message does not appear.
Please remove the pop up message that briefly appears when the user opens a report for the first time.
[Report feature] Aggregate report
Dear Vu,
We need to make the aggregate report for headcount incentive.
- Information fields (name, start date, ...) is the same as monthly report.
- Formula fields is the some of monthly fields.
I am waiting for the formula from the customer. At the moment, please make an option "Summary" in the drop-down box for "Choose Date of Report" at index 0 and display the place holder. I will notify you when we have the detail formula.

[All features] Company code and Location code
- System does not allow more than 1 company to have the same company code. System must allow this. Many companies have one company with code 100, etc
- Similar issue with location codes. Location codes do not equal a physical location. Many companies will use the same location code numbering but each location code may be assigned to unique locations. For example, location 10 for one company may be in California while location 10 for another company may be Missouri. There is no uniformity in location codes. They are assigned independently by each parent company. Companies within a parent group will not have duplicate location codes. Location codes within a parent company are uniform.
[GUI] Typos and field labels change
Please fix the following:
- At login screen, "Forget the password" should be changed to "Forgot password"
- When click on "forget the password", change "Get back password" to "Reset password"
- In the "Headcount Incentive Detail Report", in the Report Summary, you need to delete an "e" on "periode" so it reads "Net new jobs total actual wages this period"
- Under "Employees", if there are no locations set (i.e., Test 1c), it reads "There are not any locations in this company, please add location before upload employee information !" Put a period after company, capitalize Please, and add "ing" to upload, to be "uploading". New sentence should be: "There are not any locations in this company. Please add location before uploading employee information !"
- When viewing the "Headcount Incentive Detail Report", under Project Name, "Benefit Percentage" should read 6%, not 0.06%. The formula needs to be changed so this displays correctly

[Feature] Upload employee hanged at Step 4
I tried to upload a file to Test1.a company, taxdirector account. After matching all the column, I stucked at step 4, couldn't import the data.
Could you please check this problem? I attached the upload file.

[Report feature] Formatting problem
We need to fix some formatting problem. Our customer described it in the attachment.
- For any cell that has a dollar amount (wages, compensation, withholding tax, tax credit, hourly rate, benefit amount), please include a $ and comma separations and only 2 decimal points
i.e 1234567 => $1,234,567.00 - For any number cell (total employees, hours, jobs, etc), please use comma separations and only 2 decimal places.
For employees number & jobs number: I will ask for confirmation (there will be no 123.01 employees at all)
For other number: i.e Total work hours 12345 => 12,345.00 - If a field says “percentage” in the label, then the field should hold a whole number such as 7.25 (and not .0725 or .9725% or 7.25%) Please show 2 decimal places for all percentages.
Correct:
- Value 0.0725 => display 7.25%
- Value 0.09 => display 9.00%
Incorrect: - Value 0.07 => display 7%
- Value 0.0925 => display 0.0925%

We need to add a footer for the web-page. It's similar to the footer in the pdf file. No arrow in the middle. The text display is: "©2016 Vancil Brown LLC. All rights reserved"

- When it is time to put the footer back into the CIC system, please update the footer date to 2017.
- On Report screen, please change message to "There are no reports for this location."
The current language is not good English: There are not any reports in this location.

[Employee Feature]Backfilling
We have some problem with the backfilling process. Our customer report that
It appears that the backfilling process is not correct. As I am working on the sample report and matching the backfilled positions, I noticed that we are backfilling project jobs vacated in January of 2016 with employees who were hired in 2001. That shows that we’re backfilling base jobs with existing base jobs. An employee who backfills a vacated position should be hired after the base job is vacated In this example, the jobs vacated on January 10, 2016 should be backfilled by employees hired on or after January 10, 2016.
The employee who is used to backfill a vacant job must:
- Be hired after the termination date of the vacant job
- Be a new/surplus employee
Could we change this process? I send the flow chart attachment for this.

[All features] Create the indicator to notify the user of processing request
At the moment, some process like:
- Uploading data
- Scrolling the report/Change the Date of Report
...
Doesn't have any indicator to notify user of processing request. Can we put something on this, the example would be: When user logging into the system, 3 color squares indicator rolling to notify the user. At that time, the button control can be disable so that the user doesn't accidentally click twice.
I will check for the list of required features that we want to put this thing on.
[Performance] Excel file upload format slows down the system
We're having problem with uploading Excel file. The system is too slow, and the columns to match contained non-header columns. Sometime the customer has problem with blank row (after the last row that had data).
Could we format the upload excel file of the customer so that we can avoid this problem? We can trim out the non-data columns and non-data rows.
Add the NodeJS Express framework for the project

We need to export the report to excel file, with format similar to the report page.

[Feature employee] Remove the jumping to top-page at Step 3
At step 3 of uploading employee file, while matching the columns, the system always jumps to the top-page for every column change. This is abnormal User Experience.
Expected: The system stays at the current position after choosing a column to match. It will not jump back to the top-page anymore.
