Installation

Arch Linux

It is available on the AUR, you can install it with makepkg or using an AUR helper.

Using makepkg:

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/urbanlifestyle-sddm-theme.git
cd urbanlifestyle-sddm-theme
makepkg -Ccsi

Other GNU/Linux distros

• Download the latest release
• Decompress the *.zip or *.tar.gz file
• Copy all files and directories into /usr/share/sddm/themes/urbanlifestyle/

Usage

• Open up your configuration file and set urbanlifestyle as your current theme

[Theme]
# Current theme name
Current=urbanlifestyle

Configuration

You can change some theme settings to fit your preferences, these values are located in the theme.conf file.

The avatar image size should be at least 100x100 px. For more information, refer to the Arch wiki.

Feature request: background color

As far as usability is concerned, this theme is the best I have seen. However the background is somewhat on the NSFW side. I have changed the background to use a different picture now, but the picture is predominantly black, and does not conform to my monitor's aspect ratio. As a result, I see two white vertical bars on each side of the image.

Can you please provide a feature to set a default background color via theme.conf?
